Bespoke furniture and joinery solutions
This circa 1970’s Auchenflower home in Brisbane’s Inner West needed an update to accommodate a busy family in need of additional space. Our brief included a new kitchen, bathrooms, joinery, landscaping and repair work. The home was built on a sloping block, presenting many drainage issues which needed to be overcome before the fun stuff could begin!
With the structural work complete we were inspired by our Client’s eclectic style to deliver some bespoke furniture and joinery solutions. Working with James Talty of James Talty Furniture http://jamestaltyfurniture.com, we designed and produced this unique wall-mounted bookshelf, practical room divider and modish reading lights for the main bedroom.
One of our priorites when working with new clients is to get an idea of their personal style. A discovery session held during the onboarding process ensures we have a good understanding of how they like to live – alfresco diners?, outdoor entertainers? home cinema buffs? Understaning this will help make sure we design and build a home that provides joy for years to come. We’ll then work hard to find the right tradespeople and suppliers who can help deliver on that brief.
