What our Clients are Saying
Our clients mean the world to us and we value their feedback. Check out their reviews of Project Complete below.
We had been considering a renovation on our Queenslander for some time and noticed that the project next door to us was coming along nicely so we thought having a chat with Harry Nina would be useful. At our first meeting, Harry supplied beers and cheese and we talked “turkey”. Long story short, Harry and Phillipa Nina were a magnificent team, from saving us money, helping us choose colours and finding lovely second-hand windows. Harry actually listened to us and he was always available through the renovation process. We talked, agreed and disagreed but, as we said, the focus was always on the house and we are so happy with final product. We are still having drinks on a Friday afternoon and we would highly recommend Project Complete to anyone needing experts in renovating Queensland homes.
We engaged Harry Nina and the Project Complete team recently to design and fit out our new compounding pharmacy in Brisbane. Harry came highly recommended by a colleague so I had confidence before the project began. I am pleased to say he delivered over and above our expectations. His experience in the retail industry is impressive and he was able to contribute ideas we hadn’t originally considered. Harry works with a network of reliable and trusted contractors and suppliers who brought the project in on time and within budget.
I have already recommended Project Complete to a friend who has also been impressed with the quality of service offered and I plan to work with them again in the near future.
We engaged Project Complete to help us with the renovation of our lovely Queenslander in Paddington. As we were going to be out of the country for a few months, and then relocating interstate, we were very unsure about how to go about getting the renovation done. We had never taken on such a big piece of work, and much of it was new territory for us.
Harry gave us several ideas about various design options, and he then took care of every aspect of the project. When a couple of unexpected but serious issues arose, Harry called with options for solutions that he had already figured out, scoped, costed and discussed with contractors. Harry knows the industry, has solid relationships with quality tradespeople, and makes sure you get a quality result. Every part of the process for us was low fuss, as Harry took time to understand our situation, our personal style, how we wanted things done, and made sure the renovation was not just good, but outstanding. The finished project was within the estimated budget, and the result far better than we ever imagined.
We would recommend Harry and Project Complete without hesitation.
Project Complete project managed the design, construction and interior fit out of Barr St Markets with a high degree of skill and innovation. Harry Nina’s skill is in knowing how to run a project cost effectively and in a reasonable time frame. He is innovative in his thinking and comes up with out of the box solutions that use space in ways we would not have imagined possible.
The team at Project Complete also managed tasks that would normally be outsourced to external agents. Looking after those processes in one stable saved us precious time and dollars and eliminated a great deal of stress. Harry understood our brief and has a wealth of experience across multiple disciplines so we felt comfortable knowing our development was in capable hands.
Harry designed tenancies, sourced tenants, managed shop fits and negotiated leases for all internal spaces. Project Complete’s Marketing Services arm took on brand identity, logo design and ran a successful marketing launch campaign for the centre.
I wholeheartedly recommend Harry Nina and the team at Project Complete for any design, marketing and project management endeavours.
Being our third project in as many years, working with Project Complete continues to be a rewarding experience on all levels. Harry and Katie always start with getting the brief right which is essential as every project is different.
On this occasion I needed to update a short term 3 bedroom apartment and increase its rental appeal without over capitalising as the primary target market is students -so for me it is all about rental yield. Trust and confidence in the Project Complete team made the choice to work with them again a no brainer and the results confirm I will be working with them again!
Saves time, saves money and saves stress is how I would sum up working with Harry and the Project Complete team. For our house in New Farm it was a difficult job to combine the old with the new. Our brief to Harry was to put on a new extension and to renovate the existing house which was in need of a major makeover including completely new electrical and plumbing works, asbestos removal and a redesign of the floor plan. It was a difficult renovation as we were constrained by some aspects of the existing house in terms of ceiling heights and an old non working fireplace I couldn’t remove.
I have built a home before this, but this time I found the experience less stressful and even (dare I say it) enjoyable. The end result – we are extremely pleased. It was completed in the required time frame and within our original budget.
We engaged Cath of Project Complete to undertake the furnishing of our newly purchased unit. We were extremely happy with the service, advice, friendliness and professionalism of both Cath and Harry. Their many contacts and access to competent tradespeople ensure good service and great value.
As an expat investor it is important to have professional partners on the ground when securing property from a distance – but to help build value within my portfolio I needed to undertake a renovation which is even more daunting whilst overseas, let alone being a first time undertaking for me. Luckily, I was introduced to Harry and he quickly set to work on taking away the guesswork. Through open discussion of what the brief was (maximum rental potential), planning with actual completed job samples, and a detailed budget for the project, I felt confident in engaging Harry and Cath for the job. They kept me updated throughout the process with on-site pics which is important for somebody 9 hrs away by plane. Deftly handled the odd curve ball that arise during any reno job, and at the end of day, came under budget with a great looking result! Not only did I increase my property value confirmed by a new valuation (almost double the project budget ). I also rented the newly renovated unit within a week of completion and at the highest end of my property managers forecast. Am I happy, yes.
The renovation of a property requires a number of skill sets including good time management, design skills, construction material knowledge and contacts to name a few!
Being property professionals we understand the value of good advice and respect those that can effectively deliver it. Harry Nina understood our requirements for the renovation of our new office and the changes we were looking to make. We had to turn an existing house to an office for 13 people. We had known of Harry for a while and when we called him to act for us personally he quickly built a rapport with us that meant we trusted his judgement implicitly.
Even though I am an experienced property adviser we listened carefully to what Harry had to say from the Project Manager’s side as he has completed many projects for clients in his time. Harry guided us on where the value lay, how much we may have to pay and ultimately how much we should not pay. We are confident that with his advice we achieved the best possible outcome. Harry is an outstanding Project Manager. We highly recommend him and his team.
I recently engaged Harry Nina from Project Complete for a pharmacy shop refit and warehouse and office refit.
The project involved design, costing, construction and project management. I was very impressed with Harry’s ability to be innovative in design, taking into account budget considerations and in coming up with cost saving solutions during the process. His approach led to us shaving 30% off the build price for both projects. We achieved a result which was above our expectations and within our timeframe. His project management of the fit-outs enabled us to carry on our business without the disruptions and headaches normally associated with such large projects. My team where very impressed with Harry’s honesty and ethics during the process and ability to deal with challenging situations in a professional businesslike manner.
I have no hesitation in recommending Project Complete for similar projects .
As a small business that has fitted out four shops in four years, we have had our fair share of dealing with shop fitters and tradespeople.
We only engage leading suppliers and professionals to ensure our exacting requirements on cost, quality and timeliness of delivery are satisfied. Project Complete met all of our criteria to ensure a smooth launch on our most recent expansion project. We would be very happy to use them again.
Harry and his company had been recommended to me by a business colleague to manage the fit-out and installation requirements of the Ecco Ripley Sales Centre that was being built in Ripley Valley, QLD, by our client Sekisui House.
Harry’s ability to work with our designer’s conceptual ideas and recommend practical, cost effective solutions to bring these to life for our client was exceptional. His tenacity, solutions-oriented approach and can-do attitude, combined with a terrific sense of humor, were major factors in the Sales Centre’s success.
His expertise in scoping and managing this project of work ensured that it was well resourced and worked within the client’s timeframes and budgets.
I would thoroughly recommend Harry and his company to anyone wanting project management of fit-out and installation requirements.
“Last year we purchased a house that required renovations. We had started to look at different builders and contractors to help with these renovations when we came across Harry. After our first meeting, he had a clear sense of what we needed and came up with a range of great new suggestions. Our renovations involved re-designing and renovating the kitchen, laundry, study, lounge room and a bedroom, and due to some special needs, make amendments to parts of our driveway, footpaths and door frames. At the time, we had very little spare time and Harry organised all the quotes and timings for us and at prices that were far better than what we thought we could get. As we had so little time we could just describe what we wanted (such as light fittings, back splashes, ovens, etc) and Harry would find a variety of different sources that met our descriptions and we were then able to pick from those. For the kitchen, he arranged a few visits to different shops for us where he could run us through the various pros and cons of different styles. He also got a new door designed for us for the laundry which is just perfect to allow the door to be locked but facilitate airflow. Harry took the running around out of the renovations for us. We also needed to arrange to have all renovations completed within 6-8 weeks due to the timing of moving houses. From previous experience, we knew that arranging the various trades and getting them at the house at the time we needed them was at times extremely challenging. Harry ran with all of this and delivered the renovations on time and we were very happy with the workmanship. He seemed to have an extremely wide range of contacts. Throughout the whole process he kept us informed, was happy for us to have as much or as little input as we wanted and continued to provide us with ideas. Overall, Harry made the process so easy for us, organised everything and with his negotiating skills coupled with his industry contacts more than paid for himself. We were delighted with what he did and would highly recommend him.”
